Hello! My name is Kit Cates, and I am a current graphic design student at the University of Southern Mississippi. I have been passionate about graphic design since my junior year of high school and have done whatever it takes to keep pursuing this passion. When it comes to my work, I adore doing extensive amounts of research for the things I am designing. I always want to focus on the deeper story and express that even through the smallest of details.
Outside of school, I love to paint, draw, decorate, travel, and look for bugs! You can usually find me outside on the search for any kind of creepy crawlies I can find. When it comes to art, I will try any medium I can get my hands on. I have built miniature houses, dabbled in watercolor, gotten my hands messy from charcoal and oil pastels, taken my time with oil-based paints, had my fun with digital art, made many tiny things out of clay, crafted a few books, doodled on all types of paper, and when it comes to acrylic paint, no item is safe from my paintbrush.
